4 Lailatul Qadr (The Night of Power) Privileges: Better than a Thousand Months to the Descent of Angels to Earth
After the Tarawih led by Ustaz Halim, he delivered a
lecture on the night of Lailatul Qadar and discussed the special features of
that night.
Ustaz Halim also said "The night of Lailatul Qadar is referred to as a night better than a thousand months that has many virtues and blessings by Allah SWT”. That way there are many special nights Lailatul Qadar. In welcoming the night of Lailatul Qadar, every Muslim is encouraged to increase worship, especially the practice of sunnah to get merit and kindness.
As one of the hadiths of the Prophet narrated by Imam Bukhari regarding the time of Lailatul Qadr: "From Aisha ra. Verily, the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Be sure to worship on the night of Qadr, that is, during the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan." (Narrated by Bukhari).
The night of Lailatul Qadr is one odd night on the last ten days of Ramadan. During the month of Ramadan, every Muslim will definitely look forward to tonight because Muslims can get a lot of rewards and blessings from Allah SWT. Here are 4 Lailatul Qadr night privileges that you must know; Night is better than a thousand mounts, the descent of angels to earth, blessed night, and writing destiny in one year in Lauhul Mahfuzh.

1. Night
Is Better than a Thousand Months
Lailatul
Qadar Night is the most important night of the year, especially during Ramadan.
The scholars argue that anyone who performs worship on the night of Lailatul
Qadar will get the reward equivalent of doing it a thousand months or if
calculated will reach 84 years.
2. The
Descent of angels to Earth
On
the night of Lailatul Qadar, angels came down to earth to meet those who were
in the assembly of remembrance or worshiping. The angel will lay down his wings
and recite every prayer that is offered that night. Angels come down by
bringing peace to the man who makes use of the night of Lailatul Qadar in
ramadan.
3. Blessed
Night
Allah
(SWT) lowered the blessed night and erased all the sins of the former Muslims
who worshiped during the night of Lailatul Qadar. This is as the word of Allah
SWT in the Qur'an Surah Ad Dukhan verse 3 which reads as follows. "Surely
We sent him down one blessed night and indeed we were the ones who gave the
warning." (QS. Ad Dukhan: 3).
4. Writing
Destiny in One Year in Lauhul Mahfuzh
On
the night of Lailatul Qadr, Allah (SWT) recorded all destiny starting from
death, sustenance, and so on in Lauhul Mahfuzh for one year. Therefore, every
Muslim is encouraged to increase worship so that he gets a lot of sustenance
and blessings.
That was a piece of a lecture delivered by
Ustadz Halim as the Tarawih Imam at the mosque of my hometown. we can conclude
that the Night of Lailatul Qadr is very noble compared to other nights,
because it is only in the month of Ramadan, and on odd days, we are given the
opportunity by Allah to do other good deeds so that the reward can be
multiplied.
